Job Summary: As a Landscape Laborer with LandTec Services, you will install landscape features on commercial and residential projects, including planting, sod, mulch, and edging. You will work as part of a field crew under the direction of the General Superintendent and crew leaders. Success means quality installs that match project plans, completed safely and on schedule.
What You Will Do
• Spread soil for planter beds and sod areas.
• Fine grade areas to prepare for sod.
• Lay sod.
• Plant trees, shrubs, flowers, and seasonal color.
• Stake trees using tree tie systems.
• Spread mulch, decomposed granite, and gravel.
• Install steel edging.
• Keep tools and the work area clean and organized.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Will Have
• 1+ year of landscape installation experience.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a crew.
• Ability to communicate in English or Spanish.
• Availability to work Saturdays when needed.

• Outdoor work in Texas heat, cold, and rain.
• Frequent bending, kneeling, and digging.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs regularly. • Standing and walking for long periods.
• Use of hand tools and small power equipment.

Additional Information
• This is a full-time, non-exempt position eligible for overtime.
• Starting pay is $18–$20 per hour. Actual compensation will be based on relevant experience, qualifications, and business needs.
• This role follows a Monday–Friday, 6:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m. schedule, with Saturdays as needed.
• This position is based in Austin, TX, with work at job sites across the Austin area.
• Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment background check and a satisfactory motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
